Welcome to Lindburgia, my world

I write historical folk fantasy rooted in the legends and landscape of Limburg, in the south of the Netherlands.

My series De Waker van het Mergellicht (The Watcher of the Mergel Light) is set in the duchy of Lindburgia, a world built on chalk hills, old myths and secrets under the stone. The first novel, Het Manuscript van de Stilte (The Manuscript of Silence), is planned for 2027.

This autumn, newsletter subscribers will receive the prequel novella De Last van de Hertog (The Duke’s Burden) for free.
